Two men and a woman are believed to have been involved in the fatal shooting of Bobby Darren Reynolds, police said
A reputed gang member and his accomplice were arrested and a second man was being sought in connection with the fatal shooting of a Gardena father in Redondo Beach, police said.
Eduardo Antonio Losa, 42, of Lomita, was arrested on a murder charge. Police said he was a member of a South Bay gang.
Shelby Ann Johnston, 29, was booked into jail on suspicion of being an accessory to the murder in the shooting death of Bobby Darrin Reynolds.
Reynolds, a 38-year-old father from Gardena, was fatally shot on Friday at close range, police said.
Shortly after the slaying, police recovered near the crime scene a Chrysler 300 vehicle that was believed to be used by the suspects.
The registered owner of the Chrysler 300 is Erick Julian Ortega, 27, police said.
He was named as a person of interest in the case.
Ortega has prior arrests for robbery and narcotics offenses, police said.
Ortega communicates with other gang members who are in custody in state prison and is involved with narcotics trafficking, said Capt. Jeff Hink, of the Redondo Beach Police Department, at an afternoon press conference.
He also distributes the proceeds of narcotics to state prison inmates, Hink said.
